Bridport Hat Festival 2010 This Septemeber will see Bridport put on the Hat-World map as it is set to host the UK’s first ever Hat Festival over the long weekend of Friday 17th September and Sunday 19th. The White Helmets This years Melplash Show in Bridport was touch and go weather wise as the heavens opened in the morning making conditions underfoot sticky to say the least. Bridport Carnival The popular Bridport Carnival is set to take place on the 21st of August 2010 starting from St Swithens Road at 7:30pm. There will be a fantastic selection of floats – hopefully includidng the famous DT6 float. Afterward there is dancing in South Street from 9pm – 11pm and a funfair also open in Asker Meadows.
