The White Helmets This years Melplash Show in Bridport was touch and go weather wise as the heavens opened in the morning making conditions underfoot sticky to say the least. Bridport Carnival The popular Bridport Carnival is set to take place on the 21st of August 2010 starting from St Swithens Road at 7:30pm. There will be a fantastic selection of floats – hopefully includidng the famous DT6 float. Afterward there is dancing in South Street from 9pm – 11pm and a funfair also open in Asker Meadows. Don’t forget the Torchlight Procession on Sunday the 22nd... 

  Buying Carrots at Bridport Bridport has a wide variety of quality markets selling local produce. The main town market is in thetown centre every Wednesday and Saturday.
