This did not stop the thousands of visitiors who came from all over the UK to witness the best country show in the west! The weather cleared up in the afternoon just in time for everyone to enjoy the wonderful displays of livestock, horsemanship and of course the 'White Helmets' from the world famous Royal signals motorcycle display team. There will be a fantastic selection of floats - hopefully includidng the famous DT6 float. Afterward there is dancing in South Street from 9pm – 11pm and a funfair also open in Asker Meadows. The main town market is in thetown centre every Wednesday and Saturday. The Farmers market is every 2nd Saturday in each month at the Arts Centre 9:30am-2pm.
